A healed heart is a heart at peace

When we need to forgive someone, something was stolen; it could have been your innocence, dignity, peace of mind, reputation, relationships.. The emotion surrounding what was lost is consuming and in the end it is only stealing your peace, joy and your ability to live life to the full. It is possible to be free from the replays in your mind of what was stolen from you. 

The words "I forgive" are seemingly simple words, but unless we process the pain, anger, and other emotions associated with the situation in a healthy way, it will affect our everyday lives. We find ourselves not able to give our best to our loved ones and the things in life that really matter to us.  Sleepless nights, feeling overwhelmed, bitter, angry, sad, fearful, feelings of wanting revenge, hatred, feeling insecure, not good enough, dirty... are all the results of painful events in our lives, but this is not who you are. 

Freedom and healing is possible! Breakthrough may be closer than you think..
